Aim
We want King's Park, Dalkeith to be the best football playing surface in Midlothian
We want King's Park, Dalkeith to be the best football pitch in Midlothian so that the ground can be used and enjoyed by the whole community.
In order to achieve this we need to invest in a new lawnmower, an aerator and secure-storage container.
In summer 2016 the club appointed a new Head Groundsman, Grant McDermid. Grant and his excellent team of volunteers work very hard to ensure that the pitch is in the best possible condition.
In addition to the first team fixtures held at the ground the club has hosted the Armed Forces Day 5-a-side annual event; Dalkeith Rugby Club kids festival; Tesco Bank Football Festivals; Midlothian Council Active Schools and King's Park Primary School, as well as the wider Community Club Academy training & matches and its Goalkeeper School.
