Aim
DHCC has been at the heart of the Daisy Hill Community for over 100 years, we aim to renovate/ modernise the clubhouse.
Who are we?
We are Daisy Hill Cricket Sports & Social Club, we are very proud to say that we are 127 years old! and have been in our current clubhouse (plus a few extensions) & on the current ground since 1911. Who are we now? We are still a committee run non-profit organisation, providing opportunities for all ages & not just for cricket either, although we have a revitalised and blooming junior section & a not so blooming senior section. We are also a community hub, providing a safe and welcoming space for local groups, nurseries and many more.
Why are we crowdfunding?

We love our clubhouse, she's like home for many but she needs a makeover & bringing out of the 90's (that's being polite) and into the modern era.
We want to renovate the club making her more energy efficient, (she's already adorned with solar panels) & modern, whilst preserving the history and love the members and community have given to her before us, to make her what she is today.
And to do this to the right way we need your help!
Community impact
We hope that the renovations of the club will not only provide better surroundings for our current members but will hopefully bring more members into the club and provide better facilities to potential new groups and users to bring the club even more into the heart of the wider community.
How you can play your part
There are four simple ways to help us reach our target, and make this project a reality.
1. Make a pledge. Don’t delay if you’re going to support us because momentum is key to our success!
2. Spread the word. Share our project on your social media pages and tell the world to get behind us! The more people we reach, the more support we will get.
3. Offer rewards. Get involved if you are a local business by donating things we can offer to our supporters. We will give you a shout out!
4. Fundraise for us. If you want to run your own fundraiser – maybe a sponsored activity or similar – use the 'contact project' button at the top of our page to let us know. Setting up your own page only takes a few minutes and you won’t need any bank details. Just a fun idea!
5. Volunteering
The club events and upkeep is completely run by volunteers, if you have some spare time to help please feel free to pop into the club. We would love to meet you.
