The Story Behind DAD
DAD by David Solomon is a powerful, raw and deeply moving new play that explores the intricate, often messy layers of family dynamics. It is a story that will make you laugh, catch your breath and ultimately want to call your own family the second the lights go down.
After months of development, workshops, and pouring our hearts into the script, we are thrilled to announce that DAD is finally ready for its world premiere at The Golden Goose Theatre from 22nd Sep - 3rd Oct.
But to bring this powerful script from the page to the stage, we need you.
Why We Need Your Help
An incredible script is just words on a page until an actor steps into the character. We have assembled a phenomenal cast of talented artists who are ready to pour their hearts, sweat and tears into these roles.
In the London fringe theatre bubble, actors too often work for passion alone. We want to change that. The number one reason we are raising these funds is to financially compensate our cast for their time, dedication and immense talent. By backing this project, you are ensuring that these artists are valued and paid for their craft.
Beyond fair pay, your support gives our actors the exact environment and tools they need to deliver a powerhouse performance:
How You Can Get Involved
We can't do this alone, and there are a few ways you can become a vital part of the DAD family:
Thank you for supporting fringe theatre and helping us bring DAD to life. Your support means the world to us!
