Widgeon Theatreboat is part of a national initiative launched by Music Venue Trust to prevent the closure of hundreds of independent music venues.
Our venue faces closure because of the current request to close the stage during the main season of our performances shows from Spring to Autumn which keep us afloat.
Your donations will be used to cover key costs helping maintain and promote the Theatreboat’s internet presence enabling us to promote your shows via video live streams, a radio station aboard insuring you the artists will have an outdoor, indoor stage to come back to and enjoy on the canal and river waterways.
If we hit our target, and we can prevent the closure of our venue, everything above the amount we need will be donated to the Music Venue Trust GMV Crisis Fund to protect other venues just like ours, right across the country.
We ask project owners to honour their rewards wherever possible but please note that all pledges are donations and there is no guarantee that you will receive any rewards from the project owner. Please see our Terms of Use for more information regarding rewards for pledges.
