Aim: Hackney Aquatics Club work hard to make swimming possible for people less able to afford it through their access fund that needs a boost!
A big ride.
We will be cycling on our trusty old commuter bikes all the way from London to Brighton. The route is just over 55 miles (88km) and includes some challenging hills. It is the furthest we have ever cycled together and we have been in training ahead of the big day (Sunday the 15th of September). We will be riding as part of an organised group so thankfully will have mechanics and water refills along the way.
For a worthy cause.
We are raising money for a charitable cause that plays a huge part in our lives so please donate and help us reach our target in aid of Hackney Aquatics Club. Anything you can contribute, no matter how large or small, towards helping us achieve our target will be massively appreciated.
If you really want to motivate us up those hills please consider an amount per meter/mile. Anyone who sponsors us will get a photo update of us at the finish!
