We're cycling the length of London to Edinburgh to raise the remaining funds for our Edinburgh Fringe show!
Dear Supporters,
Thanks to your incredible generosity we successfully reached the target for our first crowdfunding campaign and have secured our place at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival 2026 with Am I Losing My Mind Or Just My Figure?? We're enormously grateful to everyone who donated. Your support has enabled us to take the next step in the show's journey.
However, as anyone who has taken a show to Edinburgh knows, getting a place is only part of the challenge. While our initial fundraising campaign covered the essential costs of securing our Fringe run, there are still significant expenses involved in bringing the show to Scotland, promoting it effectively, and ensuring that the artists and creative team involved are paid as fairly as possible.
So we've come up with a slightly unusual way of raising the remaining funds.
We're cycling from London to Edinburgh... kind of.
The central character of our show, Fin, is a freelance illustrator who works as a cycle courier while trying to navigate her late twenties, and to honour Fin's journey, we're undertaking one of our own. Between 15 June and 6 August, we'll be cycling the distance from London to Edinburgh - approximately 670 kilometres - before opening the show at the Edinburgh Fringe.
We'll be covering the distance gradually over 52 days, documenting the challenge along the way and sharing updates, videos and behind-the-scenes glimpses into both the training and the show itself. The route begins in Neasden, where Fin lives in the play, and ends in Edinburgh, where Am I Losing My Mind Or Just My Figure? will celebrate the 25th anniversary of its original premiere at the Pleasance in 2001.
Every kilometre we cycle will help raise awareness of the production and contribute towards the remaining costs of:
- Accommodation and travel for the Fringe
- Marketing, flyering and publicity
- Technical and production expenses
- Making sure we pay our team fairly!
If you'd like to support us, you can donate, share our campaign, follow our progress or simply cheer us on as we pedal our way to the biggest arts festival in the world.
Independent theatre only happens because people believe in it enough to support it. We hope you'll join us for the ride and - of course - see the show when we get there!
Thank you,
The Am I Losing My Mind Or Just My Figure Team xx
