- We are a small and friendly LTA registered tennis club located on the border between Monmouthshire and Torfaen. Established in 1987, we were the first tennis club in East Wales to achieve Clubmark status.
- We have 6 tennis courts in total open all year round; 3 floodlit artificial grass courts (Courts 1 to 3) and 3 floodlit tiger turf courts (Courts 4 to 6) accessible to members and non-members (via pay and play).
- Membership currently stands at 171 in total with 114 adults (67%) and 57 junior members (33%).

- The artificial grass courts were installed approx 20 years ago and urgently require resurfacing due to deterioration which will help enable the club to expand the adult and junior coaching program and develop our growing Equality, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) activities.
- Also, as an LTA registered tennis club our courts need to remain compliant with LTA standards in order for the Club to enter and host competitive matches and LTA events (adults and juniors).

- An anticipated Sport Wales grant plus club savings has secured 40k.
- Money raised by Crowd Funding will plug the gap of 15k.

- Non-members, ie. members of the public, have the ability to book courts and use the club's facilities once registered on the Clubspark platform. This has proved very popular with the local community and introduction of the club honesty box where racquets and balls are available to use free of charge.
- The club's head coach runs regular tennis sessions supporting pupils with learning difficulties from Crownbridge School in Cwmbran. Resurfacing the courts will help provide a safe and level playing field for the attendees.
