End to End walk Isle of Man - 50km

Aim

My daughter suffers from severe CVS, I want to raise awareness of CVS and understanding and to help a charity that has helped us 🥰

So…I’ve done a thing…I’ve signed up once again to I the End to End walk. In all honesty I find it the most boring difficult walk and I’ve never really enjoyed it…however, recently with the struggles our family have gone through and the difficult challenges that we still have to face I want to put myself in an uncomfortable position to try to help make a difference and raise some money for a charity that has provided us with vital help, information and support! In addition I want to raise some awareness for cyclic vomiting syndrome and its affects not just on the individual with CVS but on the wider families.

Cyclic vomiting syndrome is not very well known but for our family it is front and centre! We still have a lot to learn to help in our understanding as to the triggers, the affects it has and how to more proactively prevent it but every individual is so different and triggers are so varied it is a minefield! A lot more research is needed! CVSA are a UK based charity and they provide much needed information, guidance and support to individuals and families that are affected by CVS as well as help advance education in the cause, cure, prevention and relief of CVS by promoting medical research.
