Welcome to the Launch of Curious Conversation Blocks!
Help us bring meaningful conversations to every young person in the UK!
What are Curious Conversation Blocks?
"Curious Conversation Blocks" is not just a game; it's a conversation starter, a bridge between generations, and a fun way to explore personal and social topics. Developed by Inspire 2 Ignite CIC, we've taken the classic joy of tumbling blocks and infused it with the power of meaningful dialogue to create a unique, interactive experience that helps players learn more about themselves and each other.
A Story from the Inspire 2 Ignite CEO...
Over the past decade, I've had the privilege of having conversations with over 15,000+ young people, from those who are the highest academic achievers, to those who are most underserved. In each interaction, I've asked countless questions, more than 100,000+ in total!
After engaging with young people in various settings, I noticed most of the information they received was directed at them, rather than being extracted from them. My approach to working with young people shifted significantly when I pursued a life coaching course at the University of Cambridge. There, I learnt the art of active listening and knowing when to ask powerful questions at the right time from experts in their field.
From this experience, I’ve distilled my findings into the top fifty-four questions. Each is intentionally designed to promote communication, critical thinking, teamwork, and self-discovery skills that are not activated in young people today through no fault of their own.
This is the journey to how the Curious Conversation Blocks was born.” - Sam Squire
Who Is It For?
How It Works:
Players build a tower of colour-coded blocks, each colour representing a different category of conversation:
Roll the "Dice of Life" to select a block colour, remove it without toppling the tower, and then pull a card from the matching category to spark a conversation.
Why Crowdfunding?

“It has made me realise that I have a future, has given me a goal to reach for and some idea of what I'm going to do with my life after education.”
- YEAR 10 STUDENT
“I am always in complete awe of Inspire 2 Ignite! They just see the magic in young people, especially those who are disengaged and somehow manage to reignite that spark in them! I love watching them work but even more so working with them because I as a professional learn SO much and they inspire me to be better!”
