I'm running this prize draw to raise money for research into the ultra rare AARS2 Leukodystrophy Gene which has no treatment or cure
Oakman Group have kindly donated a prize for the raffle consisting of a meal for two including: two starters, two mains and two desserts, plus lots of other runner up prizes
AARS2 Leukodystrophy is a ultra rare brain disorder with no treatment or cure. Claire my wife was diagnosed with this in 2019 and since then has progressively declined. It is a debilitating disorder that is often fatal and estimated lifespan is 5 - 10 years upon diagnosis.
We are raising money for the Ultra Rare AARS2 Leukodystrophy Gene which my wife Claire was diagnosed with in 2019. As stated It is an ultra rare brain disorder with only two confirmed cases in the UK. It currently has no known treatments or cures and is debilitating and often fatal. All donations received will be put to researching this gene to help find treatments and hopefully one day a future cure.
