The Prize

First released in summer 2023, CSLSC supporter STANCE partnered with freestyle legend Robbie Morales' CULT BMX brand on this hyper-limited 24” Stance bike (plus a size large mix-matched cobranded crew sock).

Back then, these bikes sold out in a heartbeat, so this prize is something BOTH genuinely rare AND awesome. It also retailed back in 2023 for around £600. So, in short, you want it (and the socks).

Whichever of YOU lucky entrants takes the prize, the BMX (and socks) are ready to roll, right here in Crackington. Ideally you'll stroll up and collect it when you win, but we appreciate this may reach far and wide, so we'll work out the best way to get it to you wherever you are*.

The Cause

Crackington Haven Surf Life Saving Club was founded in 1959, has been going strong ever since and is growing every year. Our mission, along with all surf life saving clubs, is to improve the safety of our beaches and seas. We train people of all ages, starting with Nipper sessions for 7 year olds +, then Juniors, Seniors & Masters - with many qualifying and continuing on as fully fledged Surf Lifeguards on the spectacular north Cornwall coast and beyond.

A clubhouse facing the elements of the Atlantic ocean on a daily basis needs continual maintenance & the club covers the cost of all training qualifications.

Due to the impact of climate-change, Cornish sea temperatures are rising. Recent years have experienced record-highs, including severe marine heatwaves - disrupting coastal ecosystems, affecting marine life and causing sea surface temperatures in the western English Channel to increase by around 0.6°C per decade. As we note a significant rise in year-round swimmers, our clubs' commitment to training children and adults in sea safety and rescue is more important than ever.

With rising temperatures resulting in increasing numbers of people using the sea recreationally, alongside more frequent storm surges, our number of club members also continues to expand and, with that, so our fleet of rescue-boards, tubes and first aid equipment needs to grow with that expansion.

Up to now CSLSC has operated as a club, but we're due to hear back from the Charity Commission to confirm our registered charity status. Alongside all of this, the club provides a key role within our coastal community, bringing people of all ages together and, most importantly, empowering all to stay safe on our beaches and seas.

How to Enter

You can either donate £5 for one entry or £10 for three entries in the Prize Draw.
