Who are we?

🏉⚽️🏑 Embarking on Excellence Together! 🏑⚽️🏉

Get to know the dynamic trio behind this project: Clwb Pêl-droed Crymych (Football), Clwb Rygbi Crymych (Rugby), and Clwb Hoci Emlyn (Hockey). Our clubs, each with a rich history and a deep passion for sports, have come together to enhance our local all-weather facility. 

1) Clwb Rygbi Crymych stands strong with a vibrant junior section for boys and girls, 2 men's senior teams, and a 'walking rugby' team catering to various abilities, ensuring everyone finds their place on the field. 🏉 With 270 junior and senior members, we foster rugby talent and camaraderie, making a lasting impact on Crymych's sporting landscape.

2) Clwb Pêl-droed Crymych fuels the football fever, boasting 2 senior teams and launching a girls/ladies team, promoting gender equality in sports. 🌟 With 60 junior and senior members, we nurture football talent and community spirit, creating a vibrant sporting culture in Crymych. 

3) Clwb Hoci Emlyn is making waves with a thriving ladies seniors team and a groundbreaking launch of the first-ever men's team in Sept 2024, breaking traditional barriers in hockey. Our junior section, flourishing with 85+ participants aged 6-18, proudly includes both boys and girls and currently includes more than 15 county players!

Together, we are more than clubs; we are a community committed to providing opportunities, breaking down barriers, and fostering a love for sports in every corner of Crymych! 🌈

Why are we crowdfunding?

Our collective endeavor aims to elevate our shared all-weather facility for the entire community. 

WHY DUGOUTS?

1. Weather Protection: Currently, adverse weather conditions leave players, coaches, and supporters with soaked belongings. Dugouts provide essential shelter during training sessions and matches, ensuring they can stay dry and comfortable ...even in Crymych!

2. Player Welfare: With growing participation across all age groups and genders, our club needs proper facilities to support our players' development and well-being. Dugouts offer a dedicated space for rest, hydration, and injury management during games.

3. Attracting Talent and Multi-Sport Opportunities: Investing in infrastructure like dugouts demonstrates our commitment to providing a top-quality sporting environment. This can attract new players, volunteers, and sponsors, ensuring the long-term success and sustainability of our clubs. Our strong links across clubs allow children to engage in multi-sports, contributing to their holistic development.

4. Community Hub: Shelter means more than dry kit; it symbolises our commitment to creating a welcoming and inclusive sports environment for all. Dugouts would enhance the overall experience for all users, fostering a sense of community and camaraderie. Each club actively addresses issues of gender inequalities and increases sports participation. All 3 clubs welcome both boys and girls, and Clwb Rygbi Crymych has pioneered 'walking rugby' for those less physically able, promoting inclusivity and diversity. Our goal is to provide access to quality sports facilities for all, fostering a sense of community and breaking barriers.

There are four simple ways to help us reach our target, and make this project a reality.

How we’ll spend the money raised

Your generous contributions will be instrumental in acquiring two 6-seater dugouts for our shared facility. Each dugout costs approximately £2920, totalling £5840. Additionally, there's a need for anchor weights (4 x £40 = £160) essential delivery cost of £400, bringing the overall expense to approximately £6400.
