CRS18 are aiming to raise funds for our team of 16 kids. The aim to ensure the kids have the best possible start in their football careers.
Cambuslang Red Star 2018 train in the Rutherglen area twice a week and play in the Sunday League in Glasgow
Our team currently has 16 players, both boys and girls and we have a development and intermediate team.
We pride ourselves on being able to play and compete while demonstrating good sportsmanship and teamwork and are always looking for ways to improve our team
[
With the team moving from 4 to 5 a side, we are currently in need of training equipment to support this move.
We need training equipment, including goals and cones. We are also looking to boost our development team and this requires extra coaching and training time. Our goal is to have the team playing to the best of their abilities, working on teamwork and boosting fitness and confidence along the way
Our team has recently grown and we’ve acquired new players, so money would be put towards new training and game day kits so the kids all have the same
We would also allocate some funds to purchasing new goals and equipment to enhance the quality of our training
Money would also be allocated to entering tournaments to give the team the best possible chance of playing matches with teams that challenge them to support development and opportunities
This team is hugely beneficial to boys and girls from the local area, training twice a week supports the health and wellbeing of the kids.
CRS is an inclusive club and we welcome anyone born in 2018 regardless of their footballing experience. We have found that our team are all now close friends with a tight bond, something that is rarely found in an age where children spend more time inside on devices than out playing football. With your support we can foster the development of the team and continue to give these kids a chance to learn and grow
