Looking to launch this novel, with events during April & May 2017. A thrilling coming of age novel set during the Napoleonic Wars.

Hello Crowdfunders!

I'm a debut author with an exciting and gripping story to tell.  Actually, I've already told it.  It's here in my novel.  Here's the thing: To give my book the coverage I think it deserves, I'm putting on three events.  Great idea, don't you think?  Well, here's where you come in.  I'm trying to raise enough money to make these events amazing.

The three events are:

• 11th April at The Ropewalk, Barton-upon-Humber, North Lincolnshire
• 17th April at Innerpeffray Library, near Crieff, Perthshire
• 6th May at St Magnus Centre, Kirkwall, Orkney (there is also a competition linked to this event. Click here for full details.)

I think we've done a good job of making a varied list of rewards on here, with a great mixture of prices.  I would like everyone to have the opportunity to be a part of this great adventure.

So here's a little bit about the book itself:

Aside from living together in a comfortable home in the Scottish Grampians, Major Tenterchilt’s three daughters seem to have little in common.

 Influenced by her mother, Arabella aspires to be a wife and a lady, Imogen wishes to teach, while Cat always endeavours to be the son her father never had. The Major’s sole stipulation is that they marry military officers.

 As the girls’ idyllic existence falls apart around them, they must overcome tragedies and challenges to find their place in a world where betrayal and secrets threaten everything they hold dear, and where no one is quite who they seem.

 Day’s Dying Glory is a story of how sisterly love can overcome anything, and a thrilling coming of age novel set during the Napoleonic Wars.
