90 Days is a play about the extraordinary 1994 Women’s Rugby World Championship. It was a World Cup like no other. Told through the eyes of two former Scottish international rugby players, we watch the fledgling Scottish women’s rugby team galvanise the rugby community to become the unlikely saviours of the 1994 Women’s World Cup.
The play is written but we need your help to make it happen. We are actively seeking Sponsorship and Crowdfunding to make this play a reality. All funding will be used to commission a professional production team and make this a world class production. In the unlikely event there are remaining funds after ticket sales, all profits will be given to the Scottish Rugby Union to support under 18s grassroots girls rugby.
“When we rescued the World Cup in 90 Days it was a team effort, with the Scottish rugby community at the centre of making it happen. If we can all chip in again we can share this story to a new generation of women to highlight just how far the women's game has come in recent years, as well as ensure this extraordinary episode in women's rugby history is not forgotten.” Sue Brodie
"This was a lockdown labour of love and we want to be able to share the story with you. We have the backing of the SRU to host the premiere on the 30th Anniversary of the World Cup next April 2024. They've also agreed to film the premiere so that everyone who makes a donation will be sent a link and be able to see the play online. It's a great story and will be such fun to share with anyone with an interest in rugby and the history of women playing sports." Sandra Colamartino
