Help Us Bring Our Roastery to Life! We're looking to raise £25,000 to help with the launch our very own coffee roastery!
Hi there, I'm Nat McDonald, founder & owner of Atrium Coffee.
Atrium was launched in February 2022 off the back of a successful Crowd Funder! With help from friends, family and the coffee community, we raised enough funds to open and start serving delicious coffee right in the heart of Manchester City Centre.
Our mission from the start was simple – to serve delicious coffee, deliver great customer service, making every interaction meaningful (more than just a transaction) and to build community.
Over the last three years we have grown from just me on the bar to now becoming a team of dedicated coffee professionals who are passionate about more than just a great cup. We have won competitions, hosted many events and have also been to Colombia visiting coffee farms and meeting producers.
Due to the success of this organic growth we have now arrived at the next phase in our journey, we are opening our very own ROASTERY! Roasting the very coffee that you'll be drinking! Here we want to continue our dedication to coffee and our community by roasting coffee from producers who we have come to know and who share the same values as ourselves. We want to showcase their coffees to you, giving all the hard work and dedication put in the justice it deserves. Roasting ourselves will enable us to have full control over the product, helping us create a more sustainable business model.
We have a roastery space, a roaster ready to be built, however we are looking to raise £25,000 to go towards other materials and machinery needed for a successful launch. We want this roastery to not just be a roastery but to be an extension of who we are and what we stand for.
