Resident led community patrols providing a visible, supportive presence to promote safety, report concerns and assist local residents

We are a resident-led community group formed by local people who care deeply about the safety, wellbeing and reassurance of those living in our area. Our aim is to provide a visible, calm and supportive community presence, helping residents feel safer, supported and listened to where concerns arise.

Our vision is to create a coordinated Community Patrol that acts as a reassuring point of contact, supporting residents, encouraging awareness, and signposting concerns to the appropriate channels where necessary. This is not about enforcement, but about visibility, communication and community-led support.

The funds raised will be used to purchase essential equipment that enables this service to operate safely and effectively, including communication devices, high-visibility clothing, personal safety equipment, basic training and operational resources. This will ensure our volunteers are properly equipped to carry out their duties responsibly, professionally and with the safety of all residents in mind.

By investing in this initiative, the community is strengthening its own resilience, encouraging positive engagement and ensuring local residents feel supported, connected and protected.
