Pandy Park – The Heart of the Keys
Crosskeys RFC, affectionately known as "The Keys," is an esteemed rugby club with deep roots in the industrial and social history of its local area. Founded in 1885 at a time when rugby was swiftly becoming the heartbeat of Welsh communities, the club was established as both a competitive team and a unifying force for people from all backgrounds. The vision of its early founders was to create an institution that would foster community spirit through a shared passion for rugby.
In its formative years, Crosskeys RFC faced the typical challenges encountered by grassroots clubs, such as limited resources and modest facilities. Despite these hurdles, the club quickly earned respect for its unwavering commitment to fair play and a strong team ethos. The support of the local population was instrumental in laying a stable foundation, and fiercely contested matches helped cement the club’s reputation.
As the club evolved, it embraced modern advancements in sports science, coaching, and player welfare, striking a careful balance between tradition and innovation. This approach has ensured that Crosskeys RFC remains competitive and relevant in the ever-changing landscape of Welsh rugby. The club’s adaptability and forward-thinking mindset, grounded in a proud identity, have enabled it to thrive while staying true to its core values.
Throughout its rich history, Crosskeys RFC has enjoyed numerous moments of success, including league promotions, memorable cup runs, and landmark victories. Each achievement has been celebrated as a collective triumph, reflecting the club’s resilience, unity, and ambition. Known for "punching above its weight," Crosskeys RFC stands as a testament to the power of determination, hard work, and uncompromising standards, building a legacy that resonates throughout the community.
Today, Crosskeys RFC is committed to long-term sustainability and success. The club prioritises youth development, community engagement, and competitive excellence, providing a clear direction for the years ahead. Looking to the future, Crosskeys RFC aims to strengthen its position within Welsh rugby and continues to be a source of pride for its supporters and community.

Cross Keys is more than a rugby club — it is the heartbeat of our community. For generations, Cross Keys RFC has brought people together at Pandy Park — young and old, players and supporters, families and friends. It is a place where memories are made, where values are learned, and where a proud rugby heritage continues to thrive.
Pandy Park has always been a safe, welcoming home for everyone who walks through its gates. But today, that home needs your help.
Time has taken its toll on our facilities. Our floodlights are failing, threatening our ability to train and play safely. Replacing them with modern LED units will not only restore visibility but secure a more sustainable future for the club. Our sound system — once the voice of matchday — now crackles and fades, no longer delivering the atmosphere our community deserves. And our pay-entry box, vital to every game, is on the brink of collapse, leaving our dedicated volunteers without a safe and secure space.
These are not luxuries — they are essentials. They are what keep Cross Keys alive as a hub for all ages.
In recent years, we have faced immense challenges. Two devastating floods forced us to use every available resource just to repair and protect our clubhouse. Those efforts kept us going, but they left us with no reserves to invest in the future.
Now, we stand at a turning point.
This club, with its proud legacy and deep roots in the community, needs your support to continue. By investing in Pandy Park, you are not just repairing buildings — you are preserving a place where young players grow, where lifelong friendships are formed, and where our community comes together as one.
Support Cross Keys. Protect the legacy. Secure the future."

Our aim is to upgrade the floodlights which will be in the region of 20k, the sound system will be between 2-4k and the pay box in the region of 4k
