Crossflatts 2021 Restart

Aim

To raise funds & allow the local community to continue enjoying cricket at CCC and keep our junior development progressing for all children

The global COVID-19 pandemic has created a very uncertain landscape for  millions of British small businesses, which is going to make it very challenging for grassroots sports clubs to survive.. Like many others, Crossflatts CC have suffered greatly, with most income streams being completely stopped.

In 2021 our senior teams will be playing in two new leagues.  The Bradford Premier League and the Halifax Sunday Cricket League, While embarking on these new challenges the club needs to improve some of our facilities and playing field to meet league requirements.  While completing these improvements the club must also still provide equipment and opportunities for juniors and new children we hope will be attending the club in 2021.

In recent years the committee have endeavoured to offer free coaching sessions to local children and provide club equipment so they can participate safely.  We feel this is important to ensure no child will be excluded due to cost, This is more important than ever as the effects of Covid-19 will be harming local families financially.

Through supporting this fundraiser this will ensure we can carry out the necessary improvements while also ensuring all local children have a safe place to enjoy cricket.
