We need the community help to repair our damaged roof and enable all our users safe access to the clubhouse and changing rooms
Croesyceiliog AFC is a football club playing in Croesyceiliog, Cwmbran, Wales. The club was formed in 1964 as a youth team for pupils of Croesyceiliog School.
We currently support over 150 mini and junior players from across the community with teams running from u7 to u16. This year we started our 1st girls team (u12's) and hope to develop more teams over the coming years. We have 3 senior teams including our 'youth', 1st team and reserves.
We are very fortunate to have such a great group of volunteers supporting all aspects of the club from the dedicated coaches given up hours every week so children can take part in what they love, to the 'behind the scenes' volunteers giving up their time to maintain the pitches, equipment, support match days, clean the facilities and so much more. Without these people we would not survive.

The roof of our clubhouse and changing rooms needs substantial work. Significant leaks are causing flooding in our changing rooms, damp in the clubhouse and damage around the facility. Unfortunately we are struggling to be able to run our training, matches and clubhouse without this facility and our community are missing out.

As a club purely run by volunteers we can not afford the repair work needed to make our venue safe and secure.
All the money kindly pledged to support this project will be spend on the roof repairs and internal works to restore our community venue.
We believe our club is a key part of our local community, this is shown by the number of children enjoying their sport each week at our club, the parents and relatives on the sideline cheering no matter what the weather all the way through to our seniors that have players that have gone through the mini and junior pathway at Croesyceiliog into the 1st team. We offer fun, exercise and community in one place.
There are four simple ways to help us reach our target, and make this project a reality.
1. Make a pledge. Don't delay if you're going to support us because momentum is key to our success!
2. Spread the word. Share our project on your social media pages and tell the world to get behind us! The more people we reach, the more support we will get.
3. Offer rewards. Get involved if you are a local business by donating things we can offer to our supporters. We will give you a shout out!
4. If you want to run your own fundraiser to support us, maybe a sponsored activity or similar, use the 'contact project' button at the top of our page to let us know. Setting up your own page only takes a few minutes and you won't need any bank details. Just a fun idea!
