Aim
Creating a safe, welcoming women’s centre, help us raise £5,000 to furnish, equip - to encourage, Inspire and Empower.
Her-Place Charitable Trust supports women who have experienced trauma, disadvantage and inequality. We create safe, inclusive spaces where women can access support, build confidence and reconnect with themselves and their communities.
Our work is rooted in lived experience, compassion and a deep understanding of the barriers many women face , from domestic abuse and mental health challenges to poverty, isolation and systemic inequality.
Our Vision: To Encourage, Inspire and empower
We are opening a new Women’s Centre, a dedicated, welcoming space where women can feel safe, valued and supported.
This centre will be more than just a building. It will be:
- A place for healing and recovery
- A hub for connection and community
- A space for learning, growth and empowerment
Women who come through our doors will be able to access:
- One-to-one support and advocacy
- Wellbeing and mental health sessions
- Peer support groups
- Skills development and training
- Creative and therapeutic activities
Our vision is simple but powerful: every woman deserves a safe space where she can be heard, supported and given the opportunity to thrive.
Why This Matters
Many of the women we support have nowhere safe to go. They may be isolated, facing crisis, or trying to rebuild their lives after trauma.
Without spaces like this, women can fall through the gaps ,unable to access support, build connections, or regain confidence.
This Women’s Centre will change that.
How We’ll Use the £5,000
Your support will help us turn an empty space into a warm, welcoming and fully equipped Women’s Centre.
We will use the funds to:
- Furnish comfortable, safe and calming spaces (sofas, chairs, tables)
- Create private areas for confidential support sessions
- Equip rooms for group activities and workshops
- Purchase wellbeing and creative resources
Every contribution will directly help us create an environment where women feel safe, respected and at ease.
