After being featured on the BBC's 'Cornwall with Simon Reeve' a number of people have asked how they can give to the foodbank to help support Don and the team. So we have setup this Crowdfunder.
You can see the programme here on bbc iplayer ( the foodbank is 22 minutes in )
Last year Transformation CPR Foodbank supported over 5000 families across the duchy with emergency food parcels, but Covid19 is impacting the service from several sides.
Covid19 is impacting the foodbank in a number of ways
1. We are sadly seeing increased demand across West Cornwall and only expect this to get higher.
2. We are seeing a reduction in donations as people's shopping habits are changing.
3. A number of our regular volunteers are from at risk groups so unable to work currently.
We need your urgent help to fund the purchase of the food that is required to fill this gap.
How you can help
Giving to this Crowdfunder project will allow us to purchase the specific food we need when it is needed, to support our local community as they struggle at this time.
Funding will also enable us to deliver food to people who are isolating or shielding.
Thanks so much for all your support at this time of need.
