Who are we?
We are a community football and cricket club with over 100 years of history, located in the village of Cowling, North Yorkshire. We provide adult and youth sports, as well as running festivals, events and charity drives for the local community.
Why are we crowdfunding?
Our pitch maintenance equipment, including the mower, is beyond repair now and we have been given a Sports England grant, which is conditional on matching the grant with crowdfunding, to replace it all with working equipment.
How we’ll spend the money raised
We are in desperate need of maintenance equipment, including a mower, that has the capacity to cope with a football pitch, a cricket pitch and the surrounding grass.
Community impact
Our sports club provides youth sports for the community, as well as hosting fundraising festivals and events for community projects. The ability to continue this work relies on having the equipment to maintain the pitches.
How you can play your part
There are four simple ways to help us reach our target, and make this project a reality.

3. Offer rewards. Get involved if you are a local business by donating things we can offer to our supporters. We will give you a shout out!
