Raising funds to license the recording of our March 2026 concert with the BBC National Orchestra of Wales for a digital and vinyl release.

Reit ta... dipyn wedi holi os bydd albym o'r cyngerdd efo BBC National Orchestra of Wales ar gyfer BBC Radio Cymru ar gael. Mae'r peth yn bosib, ond mae 'na gostau sylweddol ynghlwm a'r peth... felly dyma benderfynu trio 'Crowdfundio' i'r peth ddigwydd! Mi oedd hi'n noson arbennig iawn i ni, ac un nad oedden ni'n siwr fysa fyth yn digwydd ar un pwynt gan i'r dyddiad gwreiddiol gael ei ohurio am resymau digon anffodus. Os ewchi i'r ddolen yma, mi gewch gyfrannu gymaint ag y mynnwch, ac os dalwch chi £40 mi gewch gopi o'r record vinyl* ar y diwedd wedi ei arwyddo gan yr holl fand (mae'n bur debyg y bysa hi'n anodd iawn cael llofnod holl aelodau'r gerddorfa arni...) yn ogystal a'ch enw yn y 'credits' ar gyfer y vinyl. Os dalwchi £25, mi gewch gopi o'r record vinyl. Os dalwch chi geiniog, mi fyddwni'n ddiolchgar, ac os gyfrannwch chi ddim byd o gwbwl, fyddwni ddim dicach. In March 2026 we did a concert with the BBC National Orchestra of Wales, and had the idea of releasing it as an album. It was a very special night for us - at sone stage we were not sure if it would ever happen as the initial concert date was cancelled for quite unfortunate reasons.
There are high costs involved in licensing the recording from the BBC, as well as printing and pressing costs for a vinyl run that are unfortunately way beyond a 'typical' studio album costs for us, and as such is it currently way out of financial reach to make this happen.
The idea is to raise as much as possible to make this a reality - in essence this is a pre-order system for the album, though we can't give a release date yet! The donation is not just for a vinyl copy (£40 for a signed copy and your name in the credits, or £25 for just the record) - we won't be able to release this digitally either unless we secure the funds to license the recording.
