We're still collecting donations
On the 2nd April 2020 we'd raised £834 with 29 supporters in 14 days. But as every pound matters, we're continuing to collect donations from supporters.
The aim of this crowdfunder is to cover out beloved staffs wages for the next 4 weeks.

The global COVID-19 pandemic has created a very uncertain landscape for millions in the hospitality and leisure trade.
We at The 78 closed our doors on Mon 16th March to protect our friends and colleagues, and their friends and families, from the coronavirus as responsibly as we could.
Our bar relies on the day to day trade from all of our customers. We value you all dearly, and your trade is invaluable to ensuring we can pay everybody who works for us their wage.
Without opening, we are unable to generate the moving cash needed to pay our staff week to week. Government support is coming, but no date has been confirmed, and, ultimately, it will be everybody on our payroll that are left worse off in the interim. We are asking you if you can help us support our staff in what is set to be an incredibly rocky time.
Every donor will be acknowledged on a Thank You accolade which will hang proudly beside our bar. It's a big target to reach, but every little helps and we hope you can donate what you can.
Thanks,
Iain, Gintare, Vic and all staff from The 78
