Covid Cymru-A Nation Put to The Test

Aim

The aim of the project is to tell the story of the covid experience in Wales 2020-2024. A people's history of the whole event in effect.

I am a bilingual ghost-writer based in North-West Wales.

I feel the time is right, after 4 years have now gone by since its start, to to tell the story of the whole covid experience in Wales.

Primarily through the voices of the people of Wales in different communities.

And how they perceived the whole experience and how it impacted their lives, their families and their way of life. And how they look back at the whole experience with the benefit of hindsight in 2024.

I will also seek to provide a wider assessment of the appropriateness of governmental policies here in Wales during the period under question. 

I would hope that the work of researching and writing the book can prove to be an on-going learning experience for all of us in Wales.

And that lessons can be learnt moving forward in terms of governance, communications, public engagement and awareness.

The money raised will be used to enable me to travel, research and to interview individuals in different parts of Wales.

My aim is to publish the book later this year.
