We want to support individuals and families in Coventry to be free from debt and learn to manage their finances independently.
Currently, our three debt drop-in clinics are a lifeline to our clients. Our impartial, consistent support can remove anxiety, build financial stability and help families grow in confidence as they navigate their finances.
We hold our clinics at Social Supermarkets and Foodbanks, meeting people at their point of need, where there is a real opportunity to make a difference to a client's situation.
We offer support in many areas:
* Debt issues
* Benefits issues
* Household bills
* Signposting to other charities
* Help with budgeting
All these small conversations and interactions can help to vastly reduce a client's feelings of anxiety and stress. Families are able to find new ways to make their money stretch, and get to know the friendly face of our trustworthy debt coach.
But we don't just want to stop there, we want to open more clinics in Coventry and serve the growing number of families who are feeling the financial strain in every area of their life. There are eight Foodbanks across the city and seven social supermarkets - we would love to have a presence at every one.
In this campaign, we want to raise the funds to open two NEW clinics in Canley and Foleshill - two areas of high deprivation, where there is a growing need for this free, financial support. We hope to reach an additional 150 clients, helping them to make positive decisions about their finances and move towards financial independence.
Thank you for helping us reach more of the most vulnerable families in Coventry.
