Warm Place for Cove & Altens

Aim
Cove in Bloom want to provide a warm place with a hot drink for those who are struggling to make ends meet.
Cove in Bloom aim to make the area of Cove & Altens an attractive place to live and visit. One of the things we notice as we go about our gardening through the area is that although we live among people who are generally fairly well off, there are those among us who struggle to make ends meet, and the cost of keeping a warm home can be daunting. With support from Co-op's Warm Spaces funding we want to help those people by providing a warm place and a hot drink for them at Cafe Confidence, whose support for the local area is already well known. Funds raised will go to the cafe to cover the cost of hot drinks and snacks for those who need somewhere warm and welcoming.
