Aim

We are helping our communities across Bucks survive and stay alive in the cost of living crisis.

Citizens Advice Bucks is helping more people than ever before who are living in financially destitute situations as a result of the cost of living crisis. We need your help.

The truth is, last winter people were choosing between heating and eating, and now, that choice is fast evaporating. Reports are pouring in of people who are looking at putting their disabled child into care because they can no longer afford the energy bills for their medical equipment. Elderly people telling us they are facing a winter with no heating, who will be running the risk of life threatening hypothermia. Children coming into school who have not eaten since their last free school meals.

We are living in a developed nation, and we must do something to stem the crisis. Our team are on hand to help people maximise their income, prevent homelessness and hardship, and help people to access emergency food and warmth. Most importantly, we give them advice to help stem the crisis. We know we will not solve this problem alone. Our funds can't stretch to everyone we need to help.

Your donation will be matched, pound for pound. We are asking people to donate to our campaign, the first £250.00 of which will be matched by Aviva. Please give all that you can- it really will help us to ensure more food and warmth, as well as basic necessities are in place for those who need it this winter.
