Aim
Due to the Cost of Living Crisis and COVID restrictions, we lost £19,500 last year. This year is going to be very similar. Please Help.
Who are we?
Our charity was formed in 1990 to support people with dementia and their carers.
We have won national awards for the care we provide.
Community impact
South Lanarkshire has the 4th highest prevalence of dementia out of the 32 regions in Scotland. East Kilbride has the highest prevalence of dementia in South Lanarkshire by quite some way.
We are the ONLY charity providing daycare to people with dementia in the area.
Why are we crowdfunding?
COVID restrictions and the Cost of Living Crisis have combined to hit us hard. We lost £19,500 last year and are on course for a similar outcome this year. Our fundraising events have re-started, but we desperately need additional funds to see us through the short term shortfall.
How we’ll spend the money raised
We do NOT pay directors, fundraisers or fundraising managers. Every donation made will go to ensuring that we continue to do what we have been privileged to do for over 30 years now... providing high quality personalised care and support to people with dementia and their families.
