To enable us to cover increased costs and support people in deprived communities in West Lothian to meet their cost-of-living increases.
Life has never been easy for the residents of remote towns and villages in West Lothian and projects run by the staff and volunteers at West Lothian Financial Inclusion Network (WLFIN) have supported people to:
In the past, the generosity of donors to the Aviva Community Fund have helped us provide Christmas gift boxes to over 1500 children through our Team North Pole "elves" and to distribute food in local villages through Pennies Pantries.
Now, having survived the financial and emotional challenges caused by Covid-19, the cost-of-living crisis means that many families are having to choose between heating their homes and feeding their children, and WLFIN itself is finding it more difficult to sustain services as all our costs increase.
Your support will ensure that we can cover our own costs over the coming winter so that we can provide a lifeline to those who, through no fault of their own, are struggling to pay their bills and feed their children. Please help us to help them keep warm and well fed this Winter and to have a Merry Christmas.
