Aim

Help Chris make history as the first Green Councillor in the Corstorphine/Murrayfield ward!

Hi, my name is Chris Young and I’m the Scottish Green Party Candidate for Corstorphine Murrayfield ward and I’m asking for your help to represent our party in the by election this March.

There’s never been a Green councillor in the ward so currently there’s no Green voice for those of us living here who want to prioritise solutions that put both people and planet first.

I’ve lived in Corstorphine for almost 20 years and am an active campaigner to support active travel and low traffic solutions in the west of the city, making it easier for people to choose environmentally friendly alternatives to get around.  We need serious action to improve air quality and reduce pollution - St John’s Road remains one of the most polluted in Scotland and that has to change. Wider pavements, better pedestrian crossings, better cycle paths and genuine green corridors to help access green spaces are all part of the solution to help Edinburgh achieve our net zero commitments and improve our quality of life.

Please vote Scottish Green in March and help make sure our voices are heard.

Please note: if you are kind enough to donate more than £50 to Chris's campaign [£500 to the party] your name and address will be checked against the electoral register to ensure you are a permissible donor. Donations over £50 will appear in the election return and donors over £7,500 will appear on the Electoral Commission website. Multiple donations from the same source will be aggregated for recording and reporting purposes.

Promoted by Fraser May on behalf of Chris Young [Scottish Green Party] both at Scottish Green Party, 19b Graham Street, Edinburgh, EH6 5QN.
