We're fundraising to buy our own post protectors and flags to improve matchdays. At present, we are borrowing equipment from other clubs
Who are we?
Coventry Corsairs RFC is an inclusive, community‑driven rugby club based in Coventry. We are Coventry & Warwickshire's first and only inclusive rugby club. We welcome players of all backgrounds, identities, and experience levels, creating a space where people can enjoy rugby in a supportive, social, and competitive environment. Our club is built on teamwork, respect, and the belief that rugby should be accessible to everyone.

Why are we crowdfunding?
We’re raising funds to purchase our own post protectors and pitch‑side flags to enhance our matchday experience. At the moment, we rely on borrowing equipment from other teams, which limits our independence and the professional look of our home fixtures. Owning our own kit will help us create a safer, more welcoming environment for players, visitors and supporters.
This project also supports our wider growth as a club - improving facilities is a key part of building long‑term sustainability and meeting eligibility criteria for additional funding opportunities.
How we’ll spend the money raised
Every donation will go directly towards essential matchday equipment. Being transparent matters to us, so here’s how the funds will be used:
A clear breakdown will be shared once final quotes are confirmed, ensuring supporters can see exactly how their contribution makes a difference.

Community impact
Coventry Corsairs RFC plays an important role in the local community. We provide a welcoming space for people who may not always feel represented in traditional sporting environments, particularly LGBTQ+ players and supporters. Our club helps build confidence, connection, and wellbeing through sport.
Beyond rugby, our facilities and events bring people together - supporters, families, volunteers, and local partners - strengthening community ties and promoting inclusion across Coventry and Warwickshire.
