We want to get copies of "Nobody is Too Small to Make a Difference" by the amazing Greta Thunberg into 100 different Cornish schools.
The book’s £2.99, so we’re looking to raise at least £300 for the Cornwall region.
If we reach more than our original target, then the money will be used to supply even more schools, so please don't stop donating!
We’d like to get as many copies of Greta’s book as we can into the hands of young people in Cornwall. So, this is why we’re setting up this Crowdfunder.
How it works:
1. Can you buy a copy of Greta’s book for a schoolchild? Better still, can you buy three? Five? More? Select a reward on the right-hand side of this page to tell us how many copies you want to buy for Cornish schoolchildren.
2. When the project closes we will email you for the schools you wish the book to be sent to. We'll do the rest.
3. We'll fight to protect the living planet, starting here right now in Cornwall.
Who is Greta Thunberg?
In August 2018 a fifteen-year-old Swedish girl, Greta Thunberg, decided not to go to school one day. Her actions sparked a global movement for action against the climate crisis, inspiring millions of pupils to go on strike for our planet, forcing governments to listen, and earning her a Nobel Peace Prize nomination.
A collection of her speeches has now been published by Penguin, called ‘No One Is Too Small to Make A Difference’. And the title of the book sums up why we think this book is so important. Not only is it a rallying cry for why we must all wake up and fight to protect the living planet, but it’s also an inspirational book with the potential to empower future generations by showing them that no matter who you are, you really can make a difference.
