Aim

Help get our Cornish Girls to Germany to represent Great Britain

The girls formed a partnership in December 2022, they are made up of Aine aged 10, Ashleigh Aged 14 and Ella 15, despite Ella suffering a broken ankle over Christmas and Ashleigh having a minor back injury, they trained hard and made it to Portugal to compete in the Maia International Cup in March, with injuries clear they came back fighting and had a goal to reach the English Championships in April where they came away as English champions!!  They then travelled to the Rzeszow Cup in Poland in June 2023, were they placed 2nd, narrowly missing out to Israel (who are extremely hard to beat), by a 0.3, in non acro talk that's a pointy toe, or the smallest of wobble. Next up was the British Championships in Stoke on Trent, they fought hard and placed 2nd against a well deserving Spelthorne from London, but they were over the moon with their silver medals nonetheless.

As English Champions they were invited to trial for the Great Britain Team, something they have only ever dreamed of, the girls continued to put in the hours training around 25 hours a week with their coach who has never wavered, until the 22nd July where they faced their final trial in front of the GB selection panel at Lillishall national training centre. It was a tough weekend facing the top 5 in the country for a spot on the team. It was then a waiting game until it was finally announced that the girls have achieved their lifelong gymnast goal of being selected to represent Great Britain at the Gutenburg Cup, Germany in October 2023. 

In less than a year these girls have achieved so much and we couldn't be prouder, but surprisingly even reaching this far, every bit of it is still completely self funded and so we are reaching out to our local community to support in any way you possibly can, whether its £1 in the crowdfunder pot, a local business that's willing to showcase these girls at an event or anyone that wants to help with training kit, every bit of support would really help these determined young ladies achieve the ultimate dream come true.
