Dear everyone,
Here we are the day after our Crowdfunder officially closed. We are thrilled to announce that we raised a grand total of £5675.00 with 132 donations. That's pretty amazing and meant that we reached 28% of our goal. We can’t thank you enough for your generosity and belief in what we’re building. It means the world to us and our team and we will always remember it.
As we mentioned last week, we have prioritised setting up our treatment room which will enable us to grow so that we can achieve our other goals of the candles and sunscreen. It opens for treatments on Monday 2nd June!
This is our last update for now and in it we would like to say we are feeling immensely grateful and supported! Thank you. Our team have been fabulous and are working away on finishing touches to the treatment room.
For the candles our current area of focus is the packaging design with Louise from the team's artistry. Once we receive regulatory approval for them, we will look at ordering glassware and printing the packaging. We can then begin to send them out to those of you who have chosen them as a reward, before we launch them on our website and in the shop.
As regards the sunscreen - this has been the trickiest element by far. I have been making lots of different tweaks to test batches, chasing the elusive stability. I am getting closer but still have more to do. I will get there for sure so please bear with me ☺️.
Whilst our Crowdfunder is now closed for rewards, we will send you two further updates; one when the candles launch, and one when the sunscreen launches! As we imagine you'd like to know the end of the story! It's going to be a happy ending.
