Coraline - Organic SPF, candles and treatment room

Dear everyone, 

We are now at the end of the third week of our six-week Crowdfunder and we can feel the most amazing support of community behind us. Thank you to every one of you.

We are at £3,665, from a wonderful 89 of you (including Kevin and me)! This is 18% of the way towards our target. We've begun contacting a few local publications this week which feels exciting to spread the word for the last half of our Crowdfunder. 

Kevin is in the middle of the regulatory paperwork for the candles. We've also almost hit upon the candle names.

Kevin has ordered the organic candle wicks which he and the team are going to hand cut and hand wax this week. 99.9% of candle wicks are bought pre-waxed but we want to guarantee every single element of the candles is as pure as it can be, and we know it will be if we hand wax the wicks using our own organic myrica candle wax! 

Kevin's still working on the sunscreen before that's ready for regulatory submission. The sunscreen is our most asked about upcoming product amongst customers!

Next week's update will focus more on the candles and sunscreen.

As regards our treatment room, we can't quite believe it's almost ready!

Today was a great day at the shop as Amanda, who will be delivering our treatments, came in and, together with Louise and Lulu from the team, worked wonders at setting the room up. 

Thanks to all of you we have most of the equipment Amanda needs and today we are so thrilled that we are basically there with the right level of soundproofing thanks to a real team effort. 

Here's a video of how our shop looked before and now how it's been transformed across April and May with a soundproof wall to separate it off. There's no music on the video but you can watch it imagining how peaceful and soundproof it's going to be in there!

We are also working on the booking system for the treatments which are going to begin in early June, and our web developer is building the treatment pages for our website. Again, thanks to you we can do all this.

Our team has been absolutely wonderful, all pulling together towards our goals, and we are really proud of all of us.
