23rd April 2025Coraline Skincare Crowdfunder Update after week 1
Dear everyone,
Our Crowdfunder has been live for a week now. We launched it to a few people as a trial a week ago and then to our Coraline Skincare customers and on social media yesterday.
Kevin and I have been bowled over by all of your kindness and thoughtfulness supporting it. We didn't realise just how heart-warming it would feel to read your comments. It's been amazing. Thank you all.
One week in we are celebrating having raised £1,789 (8% of the way towards our target), through 39 supporters (which includes us!) Wow!
Here are three highlights of the last week:
- Equipment for our shop's treatment room: We can order all of this thanks to your pledges! We will also begin investigating fully soundproofing the room over the coming week. Here it the back of the room as it looks currently.
- Sunscreen: Kevin has continued to tweak the formula, before it's ready to send off for regulatory approval.
- Botanical Card: Louise, RCA (Royal College of Art), and member of our Coraline Skincare team, has finished the card we are going to send out with a handwritten thank you for the "Botanical Card thank you note" reward. It features botanical ingredients which we use in our skincare. She painted it so quickly and is even organising printing the cards! She's very talented. We are lucky to have her and the rest of our fabulous Coraline Skincare team, past and present.
