Aim

To raise funds to shoot a "Cops and Monsters" special minisode and a full cast audio drama series!

(Cops and Monsters Poster by Neil Fraser Graphics)

Welcome to the world of "Cops and Monsters" - a full cross media series based on our original award winning web-series of the same name.

FUNDING UPDATE

We have raised the funds needed to shoot our 6 part vertical mini-series "The Cult of Many Faces" (Details below!) on the 24th of January 2026 with our full cast.

We’ve now also raised the funds needed to start producing our six part audio series “The Year of Peace”

If we can reach £10,030 we can produce a second vertical series set in the world of Cops and Monsters, paying our cast and crew!

In the year 2035 Glasgow finds itself facing a new path as the vampire community finds itself exposed to humanity, forcing the First Minister to offer asylum to vampires, werewolves and zombies who have been living in secret.

With the asylum treaty comes the PARANORMAL INVESTIGATION TEAM SCOTLAND (or P.I.T.S!) the first ever police department charged with policing the supernatural community and keeping both creature and human safe.

WHAT ARE YOU RAISING MONEY FOR?

We are raising funds to produce both a special "Cops and Monsters" vertical mini series "The Cult of Many Faces" and a 6 part full cast audio drama, "The Year of Peace" which will introduce new audiences to the world and our rich characters - a world of vampires, werewolves, zombies and the team that police them.

The plan is to shoot the episode at the end of January 2026 and the audio series later in 2026.

THE YEAR OF PEACE - COPS AND MONSTERS AUDIO SERIES (£8000)

If we raise the full £8000 we will also be able to produce a 6 part full cast audio drama "The Year of Peace" which will see the Paranormal Investigation Team Scotland put to the test as a vampire is seemingly killed by a rogue werewolf in their protected zone and they have just 24 hours to solve the case or the vampire families will take over and the fragile treaty between species will be shattered!

The audio series is co-created by original creator Fraser Coull and Emmy Winning Writer Roland Moore

Our writers for series 1 are:

"COPS AND MONSTERS" LORE

If you've got this far and you'd like to know more about "Cops and Monsters" and the world we're building, then have a look!

At present, order is maintained by dividing each city in Scotland into zones.

Glasgow is split into 6 ‘zones’. Each zone is protected with an advanced force field that is triggered by movement on the perimeter.

1764262401_chatgpt_image_nov_27,_2025,_04_53_06_pm.png

Access can only be cleared with approved ID cards.

1764325491_chatgpt_image_nov_28,_2025,_10_23_24_am.png

0: Undomesticated zombies (category As and Bs) live free-range in this area.

1764262681_chatgpt_image_nov_27,_2025,_04_56_48_pm.png

1: Human areas such as the West End, Kelvinside, Maryhill which are closed to all supernatural creatures.

1764262938_chatgpt_image_nov_27,_2025,_05_02_05_pm.png

2: In zone-2 areas, all types of creature are allowed to mix together -- as long as they have ID certifying them to be non-dangerous. These are the centre of town, the river etc.

1764325010_chatgpt_image_nov_28,_2025,_10_16_01_am.png

3: Werewolf ghetto. Werewolves are free to fully transform during a full moon and have access to all areas in the zone. They must not transform in any other zone or will be sentenced to 90 days in the PITS holding area.

1764325234_chatgpt_image_nov_28,_2025,_10_20_18_am.png

4: Vampire Estate. Vampires are free to come and go as they please but they are strictly forbidden from feeding on human flesh. Instead they are offered manufactured blood for nutrients.

1764325764_chatgpt_image_nov_28,_2025,_10_28_31_am.png

5: The Restricted Zone. Nobody knows what’s in there.

All citizens have ID cards which give them permission to access the appropriate zones. Supernaturals are assigned code numbers that begin with ‘A’ for extremely dangerous creatures ‘B’ for mildly dangerous creatures, and ‘C’ for non-dangerous creatures. Humans take the prefix ‘H’.

All humans have access to zones 1-4 but at their own risk.

Werewolves are free to enter Zones 2 and 3 but they are only permitted in zone 4 with clearance from the vampire community leaders.

Privileged or high ranking vampires are permitted to enter zones 1-4 but working class vampires and children are only permitted in zone 2.

Zombies are not permitted to leave their designated zones and do not have ID cards.

The Deputy First Minister, Jonathan Clark is cracking down on ID cards and permissions for each supernatural community, encouraging humans to avoid zones 3 and 4.

Counterfeit/tampered with ID cards are rumoured to be rife in zone 2, allowing temporal access to zones 1-4.
