ONE WEEK
Ooooo only 1 week to go, so I thought I’d share an action shot in my new shoes 👠
NEW SHIRT
Got my bridges running top! V comfy. Been slack with updates as I’ve got a knee niggle. Have done all long runs and now tapering down! 2 weeks to go 😬
Pint time
There and back again!
Funny how last week we felt good at the start and it was horrible at the end. This week, felt I had to stop at 4 miles but pushed through and felt good at the end!
Training Plan
For anyone wondering what the training plans looks like! I’m very proud of my artistic excel abilities.
Just under 2 months to go!
With the marathon looming on the 05/05, Dom and I ran 15 miles today and it was great until 12 miles then it suuuucked. Glad to get it done though and learnt that the Gu Coffee energy gels are not the one 👎
At Bridges for Communities, our vision is a society where people of different cultures, races and faiths live well together. Our mission is to build kinder, fairer and more welcoming communities in Bristol, and to inspire and equip others to do the same elsewhere. Established in 2010, we work across Bristol and our projects connect people of different cultures and faiths, in order to challenge stereotypes and prejudice, and enable friendship and understanding. The purpose of organizing this marathon fundraiser for is to:

- Foster community spirit: Bringing people together for a common cause fosters a sense of community. Participants, donors, and volunteers all contribute to building bridges of understanding and compassion.
- Promote physical activity: Encouraging participants to engage in physical activity aligns with Bridges for Communities’ holistic approach to well-being. It’s not just about fundraising; it’s about promoting health and wellness.
