Aim

Support Conway Hall to broaden the reach of ethics through talks, concerts and educational events.

In a world of division, we champion ethics.

At Conway Hall, we believe in a fairer, more compassionate society with ethics at its heart, to help navigate the complexity of being human.

As an independent home for ideas and culture, we support diverse communities to engage with ethics through learning, conversation and creativity, exploring the defining questions that shape our daily lives.

Through talks, concerts and educational events, we broaden the reach of humanist ethical principles from our historic 1929 Grade II listed home and online.

This summer, we need your help.

In a time of rising inequality, division and environmental crisis, spaces where people can come together to think critically, connect meaningfully and imagine a better future are more important than ever.

But spaces like Conway Hall are under growing pressure.

Conway Hall is an independent charity and receives no government funding. Everything we do is made possible by supporters like you.

This summer, we need to raise £5,000 to help protect our historic home and sustain our programme of talks, concerts and educational events.

The Impact of Your Support

Last year, together, we:

  • Welcomed 100,000+ visitors
  • Delivered 122 charitable events
  • Provided 37% of tickets free or discounted
  • Reached thousands online through livestreams and digital content

With your support, our historic home will remain alive and vibrant, broadening the reach of ethics through learning, conversation and community.

How Your Donation Helps

  • £25 could help keep the lights on during a day of events in our beautiful historic venue.
  • £50 could help keep our talks and events accessible through free and discounted tickets.
  • £100 could support the delivery of an Ethical Matters talk exploring the defining questions shaping our daily lives.
  • £500 could help cover artist costs for a Sunday Concert, making world-class music accessible to wider audiences.

What Our Community Says

  • “So enjoyable. A place for me to be part of a musical community. People like me can leave our loneliness behind and be part of a lovely afternoon.”
  • "To be here is a wonderful experience. I have learned a lot and feel really enriched."
  • "I often find academic spaces intimidating and hierarchical. That was the complete opposite to the welcoming atmosphere I experienced at Conway Hall."

Invest in a fairer, more compassionate society today. It starts with ethics. It starts with you.
