Aim: We are aiming to raise funds to record our first album.

  • Hello! We are Con’tylia, a Glasgow-based band exploring the wonders of traditional Greek island and mainland folk music. Our sound is based around creating our own twists to old melodies, ranging from classic ballads to lively island dances. We dive into decades of Greek traditional sounds, Minor Asian scales, and unique rhythms, blending them with touches of jazz vocals and improvisation. We are extremely grateful to have had the chance to bring our music to Scotland the last three years and even more for the appreciation and interest it has received. This would not have been possible without the support of our friends and the wider Glasgow music community!

We’re now hoping to raise funds to release an album of our favourite songs—something that has been long awaited, but that we’ve never had the means to produce. To make this happen we need your support, and in return, we’re offering some exclusive merch as a thank-you!

Every little bit helps :)
