Aim

Bringing people at risk of loneliness joy, hope and support with singing in the streets, creative packs by artists and regular phone calls.

Singing, art and a friendly heart to heart - three ways we can help bring people a smile and hope for the future

The long days of lockdown have seen older people lonely and isolated, cut off from contact from family, friends and their community.

We’ve been working to provide a positive pick me up, offering care and creativity keeping older people connected. 

We’ve seen first-hand how older people need our help to live well in their own homes in our communities and in care homes with over 92% of Covid 19 related deaths in the UK occurring in people over 60 years old which is compounded by over 12,000 deaths in care homes alone.

We’ve three ways to improve life for people now. Your donations will make a big difference to older people living in our communities.

•  ‘Singing Hinnies’ offer a smile and a song delivering garden gigs to care settings and a bit of lockdown rock down in the street for those living independently
• ‘Create at Home’ are monthly activity packs, designed by artists, helping people to keep connected through creativity and maintaining well-being during lockdown and planning towards a future exhibition of artist’s work
• ‘Art 2 Art’ is a volunteer led phone support service with a difference. Catching up about creativity and checking in about art we’re able to reach out to those who need support and additional advice.

Donations towards these services will help us to support older people offering connection through creativity at a time when they need it most.
