We’re launching Compassionate UK, a new not-for-profit Community Interest Company (CIC) dedicated to embedding compassion into the heart of communities, councils, organisations, and everyday life across the United Kingdom.
🤔Why are we doing this?
Well, the basis of the idea behind the Charter is to move the world into a place where we "human well" together, creating and cultivating a habit of compassionate intent. Although this may sound like a Utopian dream, we are starting that dream with this initiative.
Rooted in the global Charter for Compassion, our mission is to create a national movement that inspires action, fosters collaboration, and brings people together through empathy, kindness, and shared purpose. Compassionate UK is entirely stewarded by volunteers, 100% of your donations will go towards the rippling out of this Compassionate Initiative across the UK.

This initial funding will allow us to:
🌐 Build a UK-specific Charter for Compassion website
A digital hub for resources, stories, and community engagement.📣 Launch national outreach and engagement campaigns
Including events, workshops, and toolkits to support councils, schools, and organisations. These will focus on compassion, kindness and care leading to potential, recognisable compassionate change in your organisation and community.🤝 Appoint and support regional representatives
Compassion champions across England, Scotland, Wales, and Northern Ireland.🛠️ Cover essential start-up and legal costs, website construction, administration and foundational operations.
