Thank you for your support. We’re not Government-funded. Your donation keeps our vital services free for those who need them most

Dear Friend,

We know times are tough for everyone, and as a non-funded service, it's challenging for us to keep things running smoothly and pay our bills.

We do not plan to charge for the work we do to support people in Nottingham and Nottinghamshire. Your donations help us continue this vital work, especially with the match funding from Aviva, making your support even more impactful.

We understand not everyone can donate, so please ask friends and family to chip in or share our campaign to help us reach more supporters.

Do share our efforts on Social Media and feel proud to be part of a community supporting Disability Support. Tag us and help spread the word.

Together we can achieve this, but we cannot do it without your support.

About Disability Support

Disability Support is a community-led organisation providing practical, person-centred support that helps disabled people overcome everyday barriers and live more independent, secure lives. Our work focuses on financial well-being, life skills, and access to essential support.

We are disabled-led. Our Founder and CEO is a disabled person with lived experience of the challenges our community faces. This ensures our services are designed with, not for, disabled people—accessible, inclusive, and grounded in real-world understanding.

Why are we crowdfunding?

Disabled people are being pushed into financial crisis by rising living costs, complex systems, and a lack of accessible support.

Our project impro1772456770_dsc01159.jpgves financial well-being by helping disabled people regain control, confidence, and stability in their everyday finances. Through accessible budgeting support, practical money skills, and immediate help accessing food, clothing, and essentials, we reduce financial stress and prevent crises.

By embedding financial skills and protection with our clients at Disability Support, we enable people not just to survive, but to build resilience, independence, and a more secure future.

How we’ll spend the money raised

Every penny we raise goes directly to the project, ensuring services remain free for the most vulnerable.

Money will pay volunteers' out-of-pocket expenses, cover refreshments for group attendees, and help cover our utility costs.

How you can help

There are three simple ways to get involved and support our project:

1. Make a donation

Every ple1772456797_img-20251203-wa0011.jpgdge gets us closer to our goal. Early support can help build momentum and inspire others to give too.

2. Spread the word

Share our project with friends, family and your wider network. The more people we reach, the more likely we are to succeed.

3. Volunteer with us (email [email protected] to offer your help or find out more.)
