New stretch target
Extra donations will go to improving the live music venue with the purchase of a new mixing desk for the Recording Studio.
We are bringing back our community recording studio and we need £2000 to purchase a mac so bands can actually record their music.
Project by HARTLEPOOL COMMUNITY STUDIO
Extra donations will go to improving the live music venue with the purchase of a new mixing desk for the Recording Studio.
We want to bring the Studio back to the people of Hartlepool, promoting and nurturing local talent.
As a registered charity all we do is run by volunteers, people with passion and dedication to support our community and work with other community groups whilst putting on some pretty amazing gigs.
As we celebrate 25 years there are somethings that need a bit of attention. Like the recording studio.
Live Room 1 holds lots of great memories for many local musicians however, over the years the equipment has become outdated or broken but, we are working hard to bring it back.
It’s going pretty well, we’ve managed to access some equipment courtesy of generous musicians but in order to facilitate recordings we need a new Mac.
You may have seen that it was recently Mark ‘Pino’ Pinchen’s 5th Memorial and in our 25th year we feel it fitting to also celebrate Pino’s contribution and dedication to The Studio by renaming the recording studio as The Mark Pinchen Community Studio.
Once we have raised the funds for the mac and completed the revamp, we will be celebrating with an unveiling of a plaque in Pino’s honour.
If you would like to contribute to our crowdfunder, every penny really does count.
