We're still collecting donations
On the 29th May 2023 we'd raised £18,001 with 42 supporters in 47 days. But as every pound matters, we're continuing to collect donations from supporters.
Our Community Meadow is led by volunteers for the community, connecting people of all ages with nature. We host workshops and activities.

On the 29th May 2023 we'd raised £18,001 with 42 supporters in 47 days. But as every pound matters, we're continuing to collect donations from supporters.
We will be able to host our Community Engagement Officer for much longer and be able to offer more workshops, events and activities!
Trevisker Community Meadow CIC began in 2020 to create and re-wild a meadow just outside Padstow in North Cornwall.
We've since re-generated 5 acres which has wildflowers from May to October which has seen numerous species of bees, butterflies and other insects enjoying the space. We've regenerated a wildlife pond and planted hundreds of saplings.
Many groups have visited the meadow for workshops and activities. People of all ages have enjoyed connecting with nature and the environment and learning about all sorts of different things! From pre-school childminding groups, Rainbows and Brownies, Primary and Secondary schools, Colleges and Universities, volunteers, mental health and homeless charities and groups of retirees.
Last year we teamed up with the Eden Project's National Wildflower Centre, The Halpin Trust and Exeter University to sow ten acres of wildflowers! In the Autumn we harvested these seeds and we now want to re-wild your gardens, community spaces and work places with our Cornish wildflower mix!
This Crowdfunder will help us to employ a Community Engagement Officer, tools and equipment and a community hut so that we can continue to sow more wildflower crops, host workshops for local schools and colleges, help out other community groups and Charities like Pentreath, St Petrocs and Age UK Cornwall & The Isles of Scilly. We want to visit schools and other groups to provide seed and saplings and workshops.
Our Cornish wildflower mix contains Corn Cockle, Corn Chamomile and Corn Flower and was sown and harvested last year. Right here, in Cornwall.
We've also been successful in the fund for projects taking action for nature which means that, for every £1 you pledge, it will be matched by another £2 making a total donation of £3 to help with our work. If you buy 100 grams of our seed for £15 it will mean that we received £45!
