Aim: The Young Pollinators Youth Hub supports young people of all ages in East Sussex through mentoring and accessible learning activities.
Run by young people themselves and supported by a fully trained team of volunteers, the Young Pollinators youth hub offers a range of activities for all ages.
Younger children can complete activities and earn colourful sew on badges.
Older youth can build on this knowledge and earn certificates of achievement from AQA Units.
.
We also offer work experience and Duke of Edinburgh volunteering.
Young people get lots of opportunities to learn practical skills such as wood work, event planning, sewing, cooking. Also, skills such as public speaking, business plan writing, networking, and fundraising.
The group also fund raise towards going on day trips and camping trip. In the past this has included visiting heritage sites, water treatment works, glass blowing classes, and more. Our next plan ed trip is to go metal working and make our own forged items to keep, helping use learn about heritage skills and how much work goes into making something from scratch.
For your help and support you can choose a gift specially created by the young people. For more information please see the panel on the right ---->

We'll email you upon your donation to get your delivery details.
In recent years the group have designed and installed a Christmas tree installation in Bexhill Town Centre, spoke on stage at the annual Oceans Symposium event, fund raised towards the Bexhill Beach Garden project, and supported many local events.
To keep offering these activities for youth in the area we need some funding to cover the running costs of the Youth Hub in Sidley, a safe place for our groups to meet, and the certificate fees for each child. The costs to open the venue and pay certificate fees is around £8000-9000 per 12 month period. So, a donation of just £7 can help 1 child achieve.
Also, securing the running costs means our volunteers have more time to support the young people and the activities they get up to. Giving children the best possible opportunities to grow and develop.
Your help would be greatly appreciated. Even if you can't donate now, please support us by sharing this fundraiser.
Thank you
