Creating a holistic hub in Matlock to support physical, emotional & spiritual wellbeing through therapy, workshops, and community connection
We are Azim and Sam, founders of Moksha Holistic Therapies CIC, a social enterprise dedicated to creating inclusive, transformative spaces for holistic wellbeing. Our journey started from personal experience, both of us have faced mental health challenges, grief, and the healing power of connection, nature, and ceremony. These experiences inspired us to create a space where others can heal, grow, and thrive on all levels, physically, emotionally, and spiritually.
Over the past year, we’ve already seen the life-changing impact of our work through initiatives like:
These projects have directly benefitted around 120 individuals so far in 2025, with participants reporting reduced isolation, improved wellbeing, and stronger community connections.
Our vision is to expand this work into a physical hub on Matlock High Street, bringing together:
The hub will reach 450+ people in its first year, providing accessible, inclusive programs for those experiencing social isolation, mental health challenges, bereavement, or disadvantage. We have found the perfect space on the high street which will we need to move into my May
How we’ll use the money:
We’re aiming to raise £10,000, which will all go towards:
Every pound donated will directly contribute to building, equipping, and running the hub, ensuring that it becomes a self-sustaining, vibrant centre for holistic wellbeing in Matlock.
With your support, we can create a space where people feel seen, supported, and empowered, fostering physical, emotional, and spiritual wellbeing, building stronger connections, and nurturing a healthier, more connected community for years to come.
Our hub will be a vibrant space of daily activity, where the community can access holistic therapies, workshops, and social events. Other practitioners will use our treatment room and workshop areas to run their own sessions, creating a dynamic, self-sustaining ecosystem of wellbeing. From cacao ceremonies and circles to yoga, creative workshops, and wellness talks, the hub will offer something for everyone, supporting physical, emotional, and spiritual health.
