New stretch target
Due to the generosity of our supporters we have increased our target to £1000. The extra money will help us buy basic ingredients such as meat, milk and eggs for longer. This will supplement the food which is donated.
The CGH donates food to those most in need in our local community. This campaign aims to raise funds to buy the basics; meat, milk and eggs.

Who are we?
The Community Grub Hub in Aldershot opened its doors in December 2021, recognising the increasing need within the local community for an independent foodbank.
What we do
Since opening its doors, the Community Grub Hub has developed into a welcoming warm place for residents, not only to help feed and clothe themselves and their families in these difficult times, but also to provide an opportunity to speak to experts on issues around energy and debt management.
Social Benefits
Even more importantly, the Community Grub Hub provides a warm, welcoming hub to have a hot drink and a chat with people who really care.
Environmental Benefits
On average the Community Grub Hub hands out circa 800kg of food to around 120 residents every week. Much of this food would otherwise go to landfill. On a weekly basis the Community Grub Hub also hands out over 175 items of second-hand clothing much of which would again be destined for landfill.
The environmental and social benefits of the Community Grub Hub are immense.
With the on-going cost of living increase we are looking to raise £300 to buy the basics; meat, milk and eggs. These items are often not donated but of real importance to our families.
